Argentina and the Challenge of Renewed Evangelization Print E-mail

Duc in altum

At the beginning of this millennium, the servant of God Pope John Paul II invited the whole Church to renew the work of evangelization (cf. Novo Millennio Ineunte no. 1). He called upon every member of the Church to heed Christ’s words as St. Peter did, to “put out into the deep” (“duc in altum”) and let down the nets. This will obtain for the Church a great catch of fish, that is, members of the Church. Today, when the need for a renewed evangelization has become more pressing, these words of the late pontiff appear prophetic.

 
City of the Immaculate in Brazil- A Dream Becomes a Reality Print E-mail

One of the great dreams of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe was to established a City of the Immaculate in every part of the world. During the lifetime of the saint, he established "Niepokalanow" (City of the Immaculate) in Poland and "Mugenzai No Sono" (Garden of the Immaculate) in Nagazaki, Japan.
 
The Challenges of the Mission in Argentina Print E-mail

On July 14, 2007, Fr. Isidoro M. Cipres, Fr. Raffaele M. Bolonos, and fra Dominic M. Adajar set off for Argentina, thereby increasing the number of nations that benefit from the presence of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate (FI) to twelve.
